Hello, I am an International Food Trading Specialist with over 25 years of market reputation.

The import/export industry constantly faces fraud, online cheaters, hackers, and tricksters. Not all suppliers are trustworthy. Even with stable producers or large clients, deception can be expected. Producers might face financial issues, management crises, natural changes, last-minute contract modifications, or market alterations. Buyers might pay with delays or refuse contracts, and producers might ship with delays or not ship at all.

There are many "traders" worldwide offering "virtual" products—products that don't exist. These traders have never seen any industry or fishing vessels personally, never visited plants, and have never even been to the countries from which they offer raw materials. Many trading companies make lofty promises  like : "we supply the best quality, from the best producers," but in reality, they lack an overall understanding of the species, seasons, packaging, or sizes, and don't know the product or producer personally.

Online traders often send offers with "guarantees," insisting that "we are packers," "we are producing," or "our plant is processing." But when problems arise, their tune changes from "we are" to "they." These traders then back off, stop being involved in the situation, and usually leave the buyer or supplier to deal with the problems themselves, responding with excuses like: "They let me down," "they took prepayment but shipped to others," or "the packer is not replying."

It is crucial that I offer products only from plants where I have been present personally or where my team conducts quality control. There are many good plants with high-quality products but poor documentation, no draft handling, or no habit of communicating in English. I take full responsibility for these aspects. From the moment an order is placed, I am entirely responsible for the entire process from ETD to ETA, until the product is delivered at the destination. This includes pre-inspection, booking, loading inspection, draft paperwork, certificate alterations, sending originals, telex release, etc. All these steps are followed professionally with maximum attention for each shipment.
